Chapter 1
Aseeta was a cat. She lived at the top of a high sky building. She jumped off buildings. She realized she had 1 life but she lived it. She wanted to find the Amulet of Life. It would give her 8 extra lives. One day, she read her calender. The first moon was soon. That was the day she had to have the amulet and return. She had 3 days. She started packing. She packed a map. For food, she killed 10 mice. She skinned the fur and found glue in a dumpster. She lived in an ally, so there were lots of dumpsters and mice. She found and old bag. She packed her stuff in that. She wore the Mice fur coat in case it got cold. She lived in New York. She had to get to Wisconsin. She was walking on foot. She had 14 hours to go back and forth with the amulet. She has to set it on the tip of the highest building, One World Trade Center. It would light up and apeer on her neck. She would then have 9 lives. She set off. When she reaches Manhatten, it started to rain. She kept walking. Cars sped by and she got mud on her. She walked for 6 hours then she reached somewhere around Ohio. She found a nice little puddle. She cleaned herself and grabbed some fish for the trip. After, she got up and kept going. She hit Chicago. It was busy, but not as busy as NY. It started to snow. She put on her Mice fur coat. She ran. She kept going to 7 more hours. So far, she had been walking for 13 hours. After another hour, she reached her destionation. She looked at her map. She found the path. She followed it to a mountain side. She pushed some side rocks. She pushed one and it opened a door. She went in and snatched the amulet. The mountain started to rumble. She ran out. She got hit by a rock, but that didn't stop her. She ran out and away. It was super hot so the ground was burning. She ran and never stopped. She found snowy Chicago. She kept running. She reached Ohio, then NY. She found her little dumpster ally. She thought of the hours and realized she came back 2 days early. She spent the last 2 days chilling and thinking "What if it works? How-How long will I live?" She decided to just go to bed and not think of it. The next morning she did her usual; wake up, ate a mouse or two, lay down, sleep, and do nothing until the next day. A person walked by seeing the amulet going to reach it. She watched franticly. They reached for the amulet, then she hissed and pawed at the man's hand. He backed off and ran. She grabbed her amulet and hid it under her pillow she slept on. She decided to sleep. The next day, she held onto the amulet like her life and did as the stories were told. She climbed up a pipe and onto the roof. She placed it on the highest point; One World Trade Center. It lit up and apeered around her neck. She then had 9 lives. It felt unreal but she knew it was real. She was glad. She climbed down and went to sleep on her pillow with 9 lives.
